“I’m a mirror, darling. Think of me as the Comedy to your Tragedy.”
I’d Rather BE HERE NOW
I’m excited to share the official poster for an artist mixer & the screening of my short film, BE HERE NOW. The screening will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 4:00 pm at 50 Arrow Gallery in Easthampton, MA (116 E Pleasant St). RSVP for the screening here.
BE HERE NOW is about an unemployed writer and activist with a fear of clowns, who is greeted by a clown version of herself in her bedroom. The film is a journey into the mind that grapples with existence, resistance, and what it means to be human.
This film is part of my Witches & Warriors Fellowship with Brew & Forge. I'm excited to share this labor of love & growth with all of you. To host this screening at 50 Arrow Gallery is a dream; it’s a space specifically for BIPOC artists, and the curators take care of all those who walk into their walls. I’m super honored to hold my screening here, and to share it all with you.
RSVP with the link below!
Content Note: the film deals with strong themes, suitable for folks 15+.
