Who Are Your People?
Join me for an organizing training with The People's Place this Thursday, June 26 in Waterbury, CT
It's about to be a hot learning summer.
Through my organization Action Arc Labs, I've been working with The People's Place (TPP) in Waterbury, CT. TPP is a bold new org that's exactly what Connecticut (& Waterbury) needs, headed by my comrade Roslyn Sotero. I'm honored to work with them, and to experiment with nacent groups learning the ins and outs of organizing.
Shamelessly, TPP also provided me with new bomb ass headshots that you may have seen around the internet🙂↕️

Summer Learning Series
This summer with The People’s Place, I’m facilitating a series of trainings for emerging organizers who are interested in building their skills.
Finding Your People: Basebildung, Networking, & Power Mapping will be this Thursday, June 26 from 6-7 pm at The People's Place (101 Pierpont Rd, Waterbury, CT).
AI for the Movement: A Practical & Ethical Guide to Leveraging Artificial Intelligence will be Thursday, July 24 from 6-7 pm also at The People's Place. This training will be in conjunction with Rafael Rosario III, interim Executive Director of Brass City Gamers, and will build off a micro workshop Raf and I facilitated last year.
You can register for both trainings by using the link below:
Please share this Substack entry with any organizers, activists, or advocates that you know who could benefit from a training like this. This is the first of many, and gears up for our Fall Workshop Series.
Thank you!
